Steadiness, not perfection.
Sthit is an independent mental well-being company. We make resources and enquiries about online support more accessible to people, families, students and workplaces while confirming service eligibility by location.
Why "Sthit"?
स्थित sthit: steady, settled, firmly placed.
The word comes from Sanskrit. In the Bhagavad Gita, a sthitaprajña is a person whose mind stays steady through pleasure and pain, praise and blame.
We chose it because it describes what good support offers. Not a life without difficulty, but a mind that can meet difficulty without being swept away. Our tagline, Anchor your mind, says the same thing in English.
What our logo says.
A calm blue profile for the person, always at the centre. A green brain for a mind that can grow and heal. A small heart inside it, because thinking and feeling belong together. And leaves rising around to hold it all, for the steady, natural way people grow when they're supported.
What we value.
These guide how we share information, respond to enquiries and discuss potential workplace programmes.
Warmth
You should feel welcome from the first message. No judgement, no jargon, no pressure.
Honesty
We're clear about what support can and can't do, what it costs, and when someone else would be a better fit.
Respect for context
Culture, family, faith, work and life between countries all matter. We make room for your whole story.
Privacy
Confidentiality and privacy expectations should be explained before professional support begins. Initial Telegram and email messages have their own privacy considerations.
Clear standards for thoughtful support.
Trust begins with honest expectations, not promises that cannot be verified.
Professional transparency
Relevant provider qualifications and authorization should be confirmed before regulated care is agreed.
Honest scope
An enquiry is not a booking. We clarify location-specific suitability and availability first.
Respect for privacy
Keep first messages general. Confidentiality, consent and information handling need to be clear before support begins.
Clear arrangements
Check fees, duration, format and next steps before confirming professional services.
Who provides professional support?
Sthit is a company identity, not a substitute for a professional's own credentials. The type of support available depends on the people, arrangements and applicable requirements confirmed for each enquiry.
Named professional
Before any regulated service is booked, ask who would deliver it and in what professional capacity.
Qualifications and location
Relevant qualifications, registration and authorization, including location-specific requirements, should be checked before proceeding.
Clear fees and consent
Agree on the cost, appointment format, confidentiality arrangements and cancellation terms in advance.
Suitability matters
An enquiry does not guarantee a provider or appointment. If a service cannot be arranged appropriately, ask about other suitable routes for support.
Rooted in India, open to the world.
Sthit grew from an understanding of Indian families, workplaces and ways of thinking. We welcome enquiries across cultures and locations while checking which services may be available and appropriate.
People living between cultures may speak one language at home and another at work, or carry their family's hopes across an ocean. English, Hindi and Marathi are central to our approach, with professional service and language availability confirmed before booking.
